2011.09.26: Movie show

This is actually a Kansai Parents’ event but it is open to everybody. This month’s movie: Squint your eyes (PL: ‘Zmruz oczy’, Poland 2002, language: Polish, Eng. subtitles).

A warm story of a girl living in north-eastern Poland who runs away from her proudly rich parents’ house to find refuge at an ex-teacher’s place in the countryside. Bit of good humor, some positive value education and one of my favorite actors: Zbigniew Zamachowski. The film got quite a couple of prizes and is totally safe for children. Check here for more.

Place: Takarazuka, Sakuragaoka 8-29 (12 min. of a nice walk from JR / Hankyu Takarazuka)
Time: from 15:00-18:00 (approx)
If you want to join but you are not a Kansai Parents` member, please pay 300 yen for drinks.

There will be a big screen and a children-friendly environment as usually (including a quiet place for those who want to take a nap). If you are coming, please send a message to kansaiparents@gmail.com.

…Na tle opustoszałego gospodarstwa rolnego, któremu kamera nadaje egzotycznych i urokliwych kształtów, rozgrywa się historia pełna subtelnego humoru i ciepła. Dawny nauczyciel (Zbigniew Zamachowski) przyjął posadę stróża i pilnuje skromnych reliktów techniki rolniczej. Jego towarzystwo stanowią sugestywnie zarysowane postaci Głupka (Andrzej Mastalerz) i bezpretensjonalnego młodego mężczyzny (Rafał Guźniczak). Dołącza do nich rezolutna 11. latka (Olga Prószyńska), która woli azyl pośród łąk od nowobogackiego domu rodzinnego. (http://www.filmweb.pl/Zmruz.Oczy/descs)
