This is a story from a blog of an American (?) mother of four children. She writes about how she tried to organize a puppet show in her own house.
Do-It-Yourself Puppet Show: The Show Must Go On!
It all started with a vision I had of us holding puppet shows at home. Needless to say, I had no idea what so ever about how to do it.
My thought was: get some puppets and create a “stage” and go for it. Easier said than done for this inexperienced mama.
So, a few weeks ago when the topic of a puppet show came up in our house, Dad came to the rescue. Having no experience in puppet shows, he put on a relatively good show and the kids – so forgiving and loving – had a great time.

Read the questions below, think about them all and then choose ONE of them and write your answer (5-10 sentences).
1. Have you ever been to a puppet theater? Describe how it was!
2. What was your favorite “family activity” when you were a child?
3. If you want to “create a stage” in your house, how would you do it? Describe the process. (E.g. I would find a big piece of clothe. I would install it on a pole in an alcove…)
