They are the descendants of the first Brazilians. Members of different indigenous groups have been living as squatters on the doorstep of the famous Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro. But they’re not looking forward to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. The stadium’s renovation works might put them at risk of eviction. The derelict building used to house the first museum dedicated to their culture.

Homework
After watching the video, think of the questions below and write an answer to ONE of them (5-10 sentences):
1. Do you know any indigenous groups living in Japan? Where do they live? What is the difference between them and the majority of the Japanese?
2. Do you know any derelict building in your area? What does it house? What was in this building before?
3. Make your own sentences with the words written in bold.
