Beginner’s reading: Fresh fish for lunch

From Marshall Education website:

Tim and his dad plan to spend the day fishing. They want fresh fish for lunch. They drive to a lake and fish from shore. They put the bait on their hooks and cast the fish lines into the water. Now they wait for a bite.
The day is sunny and warm. Tim and his dad talk and tell jokes. They eat a snack. No bites yet.
Tim and his dad move to the dock. They put new worms on their hooks and cast them into the water. They wait. An hour goes by with no bites. It’s lunch time. They go to a café and order hot dogs! There is no fresh fish for lunch today.
